The following schematic illustrates the Hvorslev Case B:

The screen does not penetrate the full aquifer. The top of the aquifer and the base of the aquifer are not within the area of influence of the test.

Super Slug will assume Case B when all of the following conditions are true:

1. The ratio of horizontal conductivity to vertical conductivity of the aquifer has been entered.

2. The distance from the top of the aquifer to the top of the well screen is greater than 10% of the screen length.

3. The screen length is less than 80% of the total thickness of the aquifer.
