Data can be entered or edited in a variety of units. Units are selected from Options | Units. Time and drawdown data can be entered from the keyboard or from a text file created by a digital data logger.
Entering Data from the Keyboard
Data entry from the keyboard is performed from the Edit menu. The following Edit menu selections allow for data entry.
Site Information -- This includes information such as Titles, Locations, Client, and Well Label.
Aquifer Parameters -- This includes such information as aquifer thickness and well radius.
Time and Drawdown -- This is the time and drawdown measurement for the test.
Adjust Data -- This allows the used to multiple time and drawdown data by a constant, or add a constant to time and drawdown data.
Entering Time and Drawdown Values from a Data Logger File
Time and drawdown data can be entered from a text file created by an electronic data logger. In most cases, the file does not need to be edited before loading. Headers do not need to be removed. Select File | Import to import data logger files.
Importing AQTESOLV Files
Infinite Extent can also read Geraghty & Miller's AQTESOLV for DOS files. Select File | Import and select AQTESOLV for DOS from the Data Logger Format box.
