What is Issue Tracker?
Issue tracker provides a means of compliance management without the formal structure of tasks. Issues are simply problems that need to be addressed to meet compliance standards. Each issue can have none, one, or many actions that must be performed to address the issue. The upper window displays issues that meet the requirements of the issue filter. The lower window displays actions that meet the requirements of the actions filter.
There are some important differences between issues, actions, and tasks:
- Issues and actions are completely independent of the requirements model. Every task must have an associated requirement in the model.
- Issues and actions do not have any recurrence pattern. Tasks can be recurring.
Adding Issues
To add an issue, select Add Issue from the Data menu. Fill out the required information.
Adding Actions
To add an action, select the associated issue in the issue list. Every action must be associated with an issue. Select Add Action from the Data menu. Fill out the required fields.
