The Cooper, Bredehoeft, Papadopulos slug test is evaluated by matching the slug test data to a type curve. When the series of type curves is displayed, the slug test data will appear overlaid on the type curve. The match point occurs at time equal to 0.1 days and head ratio equal to 0.5. The option to display the match point is chosen from Options | Graph Options.

Matching the Data to the Curve

Super Slug uses drag-and-drop type curve matching. Hold down the right mouse button with the mouse cursor anywhere over the type curve display. Move the mouse to match the data to the type curve. When the best match is obtained, release the mouse button.

Data can also be matched to a type curve using these key shortcuts:

Home - Jump Data Left

End - Jump Data Right

Page Up - Jump Data Up

Page Down - Jump Data Down

Left Arrow - Move Data Left

Right Arrow - Move Data Right

Up Arrow - Move Data Up

Down Arrow - Move Data Down

Customizing the Type Curve

The colors and fonts of the type curve screen can be changed from the Options menu. However the colors of the type curve lines themselves can not be changed.
