This dialog allows you to add or remove samples from statistical analyses without directly editing the database. There are two primary reasons that you may want to remove samples.

1. If a sample has been identified as an outlier.

2. To remove very old data, or reduce the amount of data for a well or for background.

Excluded samples are not included in any statistical calculations or graphs. They are treated as though they do not exist. Only the Result Report displays removed samples.

Samples are listed by well. Select the desired well from the drop-down list. Samples that are included in statistical analyses are listed in the upper list box. Samples that are excluded from statistical analyses are displayed in the lower list.

To move samples from one list to the other, double click the desired sample. You can also select a range of samples and move it to the other list by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom of the dialog.

You can sort samples by any column by clicking the header of the desired column in the desired list.
