Use this dialog to import data directly from DUMPStat or Sanitas database files. From the File menu, select New Project | Sanitas Text File or New Project | DUMPStat Database.

Source Database File Name -- Enter or select the name of the source database file.

  • DUMPStat files are Microsoft Access database files.
  • Sanitas files are tab-delimited ASCII text file.

Eliminate Un-detected Parameters -- If this box is checked, all parameters with 100% non-detects in compliance, background, and unused wells, will be excluded.

Average Values for the Same Date -- If this box is checked, duplicate and replicate samples (multiple samples for the same date, well, and parameter) will be averaged and will be represented by one sample. Dates with averaged values are represented with a "~" for the duplicate code. If this box is not checked, duplicate and replicate samples will count as individual samples.

Convert to parts-per-billion -- If this box is checked, all concentration values will be converted to parts-per-billion (if applicable). This is recommended. If this box is not checked, unit conversions may occur (with DUMPStat data) to ensure that all concentration measurements for each parameter are in consistent units. Sanitas data files should be in consistent units before importing.
