ASCII Text File

An ASCII text file is a file consisting only of text characters that can be viewed in a text editor such as Notepad, as opposed to binary files which used many additional character codes that can not be interpreted by a text editor. ChemStat imports data from ASCII text files. ChemStat can also export reports to tab-delimited ASCII text files.
