Options | Eliminate Duplicates


When slug test data is collected with an electronic data logger, it is common that several consecutive time measurements will have the same drawdown measurement. This is particularly true during the later part of the test as the rate of change in head decreases.


This menu selection will eliminate all consecutive identical drawdown values. By removing duplicates, calculation and graph performance is improved. However, the effects of removing the duplicate drawdown values, on the final results has not been evaluated quantitatively.


Data set size can also be reduced by Options | Eliminate Alternates. 


The process can not be reversed.
