Options | Eliminate Duplicates


When aquifer test data is collected with an electronic data logger, it is common that several consecutive time measurements will have the same drawdown measurement. This is particularly true later in the test.


This menu selection will eliminate all consecutive identical drawdown values. Consecutive drawdowns must be the same for all wells. Therefore this is not likely to have much of an effect for multiple well tests. By removing duplicates, calculation and graph performance is improved. However, the effects of removing the duplicate drawdown values, on the final results for the automatic parameter estimation methods have not been evaluated quantitatively.


Data set size can also be reduced by Options | Eliminate Alternates. 


The process can not be reversed.
