Check Out Path and File Name -- This is the path and file name for the document. The document will be written to this file. A default path can be specified from Options - Preferences.

 

Open Document -- If this box is checked, the document will be opened when it is checked out. To open a document, the document must be associated with an application installed on your system. The document/application association is determined by the file name extension and other options on your Windows system.
