Use this dialog to specify how non-detects are indicated in the source database files.

Set by Comparison to a Numeric Value

Check this option if non-detects are indicated by comparing the reported concentration to a constant numerical value. For example, some databases may indicate non-detects by reporting the negative of the detection limit. In that case, non-detects would be indicated by a reported concentration less than 0.

Set Relative to a Numeric Value in Another Column

Check this option if non-detects are indicated if a value in one column is less than or equal to a value in another column. For example, if column A is the reported concentration and column B is the detection limit, the value would be non-detect if column A was less than or equal to column B.

Set by the Presence of a Character String

Check this option if non-detects are indicated by the presence of some character string in a column. For example, the concentration may be reported as "ND<5". In this case, the presence of "ND<" indicates a non-detect.
